Princess Kate and Prince William have finally decided to get into the spooky season spirit.
The Princess and Prince of Wales, both 44, made their first-ever Halloween-themed post on Saturday, Oct. 31, sharing a photo of their son, Prince Louis. The photo, taken by Kate, shows Louis, now 8, at age 1, smiling over a pumpkin on the ground.
"Happy Halloween! 🎃," the royal couple captioned the adorable Instagram post
on Halloween, Oct. 31.Though the couple has not posted about Halloween before, they have previously celebrated the haunting holiday in years past with Louis and their other kids, Prince George, 13, and daughter Princess Charlotte, 11.
In 2022, Kate and the kids were spotted
collecting candy on Halloween in a photo taken by a London resident, Jay Rutland, according to Hello! magazine.
"For anyone doubting how down to earth William and Kate are," Rutland wrote. "This is Kate with their kids knocking on our door in London trick-or-treating at Halloween."

In 2019, local Kathy Whittaker said she saw the princess, then Kate Middleton, at a local supermarket in Norfolk with George and Charlotte as they picked costumes for Halloween, People magazine reported.
Louis, who turned 8 in April, is the fourth in line to the British throne, preceded by Charlotte, George and their father William.
The couple celebrated Louis's 8th birthday on April 23 with the royal tradition of taking a new portrait, taken by royal photographer Matt Porteous.
The account also posted a video montage of the young prince on the beach, playing cricket and jumping into the sea, likely during a trip to Holkham Beach in Norfolk, England, near their Anmer Hall home and a spot frequented by the royal family.
"Thank you for all the birthday wishes for Prince Louis. 8 is great!" the British royals captioned the reel.
