The fall equinox was on Tuesday, Sept. 22, marking the official beginning of autumn.
As people living in and visiting Las Vegas move from the hustle and bustle of summer into cozy, spooky autumn, the temptation to visit a haunted house may be growing, especially as Halloween approaches.
Here's a look at a few haunted houses that people can visit during spooky season (and year-round) in Las Vegas and how much they cost.
Universal Horror Unleashed
Universal Horror Unleashed is a year-round, permanent haunted attraction at the Area 15 entertainment center in Las Vegas. The horror attraction offers multiple different haunted house experiences and even special events, such as the Resident Evil Takeover that is taking place July 9-Sept. 27.
- Dates: Year-round, open Thursday-Sunday, 4-10:30 p.m.
- Cost: Tickets start at $19 for Scaredy Cat admission (which doesn't include access to haunted houses, but does include other attractions) and are around $150 at most for a single ticket with full access. For details and tickets, visit universalhorrorunleashed.com.

Zak Bagans' The Haunted Museum
More of a museum than a haunted house,
but a spooky attraction nonetheless, Zak Bagans' The Haunted Museum was named as one of USA Today's contestantsin its 10 Best haunted destinations in the country for 2026. The museum has placed in the USA Today contest for six years in a row, according to its website.
The Haunted Museum's website said Bagans, the star of Ghost Adventures, "has personally curated and designed a bone-chilling experience that blends his cursed collection of curiosities with the true accounts of decades-old malevolent hauntings and rituals that once took place inside the historic 1938 Wengert Mansion."
If visitors can't make it to Las Vegas by Halloween, don't worry; The Haunted Museum is open year-round.
- Dates: Year-round, open Wednesday-Monday (closed Tuesdays), 10 a.m.-8 p.m.
- Cost: Tickets range from $54 for general admission to $88 per person for RIP all access. Locals, seniors, and military get discounts. For details and tickets, visit thehauntedmuseum.com.
- Location: 600 E. Charleston Blvd. in Las Vegas
Halloween Maze
This Las Vegas Haunted Maze is open September through November. Its website said, "Our ultimate goal isn’t simply to scare you—it’s to deliver an exhilarating, memorable experience you’ll eagerly want to revisit. We measure our success not just by your screams, but by how much fun you have and how quickly you plan your next visit."
The maze features 15 different themes that visitors must navigate.
"Eerie characters lurk in every shadow, ready to heighten your pulse at every turn. It’s an exciting challenge designed to captivate and entertain everyone brave enough to enter," the website said.
- Dates: Open Sept. 25-Nov. 1, open Thursday-Sunday with a few select Mondays open as well. The week of Halloween, it will be open every day. When you book, tickets automatically book you for 7 p.m.
- Cost: Tickets bought online to visit the maze cost $50 for general admission ($35 when bought in-person). For details and tickets, visit halloweenmaze2026.fearticket.com
- Location: 8490 W. Desert Inn Rd. in Las Vegas
