The Dallas Cowboys aim to rebound from a difficult Week 5 loss as they host the Green Bay Packers in a Sunday Night Football showdown under the primetime lights at AT&T Stadium.
The Cowboys are coming off a 24-16 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who claimed their first win of the season behind an impressive performance from undrafted rookie Jalon Daniels.
Dallas quarterback Dak Prescott tried to orchestrate a comeback in the fourth quarter, engineering a 99-yard drive capped by a 13-yard touchdown pass to George Pickens. However, Prescott’s efforts were ultimately undermined by a costly second interception in the closing minutes, allowing Tampa Bay to secure the win. The loss dropped the Cowboys' record to 2-3.
The Packers improved to 3-2 after
a dominant 31-7 victory over the Chicago Bears.
Quarterback Jordan Love threw for 367 yards, and the Packers’ defense limited the Bears to just one touchdown and forced five turnovers. Chicago struggled to generate offense in the absence of starting quarterback, Caleb Williams, who missed his third consecutive game with a hamstring injury.
