The Milwaukee Brewers have a 2-0 lead in the World Series against the Tampa Bay Rays and are just two wins away from the first championship in franchise history. Both games in Milwaukee were nail-biters with the Brewers squeezing out comeback one-run wins.
Now, this World Series heads to Florida for Game 3 at Tropicana Field on Monday, Oct. 26 in St. Petersburg. It will be the dome's first Fall Classic games since 2008, with the Rays' most recent 2020 World Series appearance coming in the 2020 COVID bubble.
Trade deadline acquisition Freddy Peralta starts for the Rays while Robert Gasser takes the mound for the Brewers.
"I know Freddy is the right guy to pitch Game 3 with us in a two-game deficit," Rays manager Kevin Cash said a day before Game 3.
