Kansas City Chiefs WR Xavier Worthy had three receptions (on six targets) for 18 yards during the team's Week 1 win over the Denver Broncos.
SOURCE: ESPN
Why It Matters: After being bothered by injuries throughout 2025, Worthy entered the new season healthy and ready to contribute. It didn't play out that way in Week 1 as he caught just half of his six targets for 18 yards and was part of a miscommunication with Patrick Mahomes that led to an interception. Mahomes definitely looked rusty after not playing for 10 months, so hopefully getting through the game unscathed will help jump start the passing game this Sunday versus the Indianapolis Colts. While there's some definite upside with Worthy, he shouldn't be used as more than a risky flex option
until we see KC's passing game start to round into form.
