The MLB playoffs are down to the final four.
It's a battle of National League heavyweights as a pair of 100-win teams stage a rematch of last year's NLCS with the top-seeded Milwaukee Brewers looking to avenge their loss to the Los Angeles Dodgers. The two-time defending World Series champion Dodgers will have to break through on the road once again if they hope to make it three titles in a row.
Meanwhile, the American League matchup offers the complete opposite, with the top-seeded Tampa Bay Rays looking to get back to the World Series for the first time since the COVID-shortened 2020 season – and hoping to win it for the first time in franchise history. They take on the upstart Cleveland Guardians, who rallied to defeat the Chicago White Sox
in five games in their division series.
