The 2026 Illinois flag football regular season came to an end last week.
The postseason starts this week for the Land of Lincoln with Regional Quarterfinals underway on Tuesday, Sept. 29. The state semifinals and championship are scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 17.
Willowbrook, which spent a ton of time as the No. 1 team in the state throughout the regular season, will not begin the postseason as the No. 1 team in the state.
