Paige DeSorbo is known for many things: being a fashion icon, her witty comebacks during her time on "Summer House," and, of course, for her podcast Giggly Squad which she co-hosts with her best friend, Hannah Berner. However, over the past couple of years, DeSorbo has also become known for her cat, Daphne.

Daphne has inspired a loungewear line
, developed a dedicated fan base and now, sort of, has her own designer handbag.Fancy Feast teamed up with designer Susan Alexandra to create The Little Gem, a limited-edition beaded mini bag inspired by the brand's famous white cat. And when DeSorbo first saw it, she immediately noticed its resemblance to her own white ragdoll.
There was just one problem.
"When I first showed Daphne the bag, I telepathically
felt she was like, 'And I have blue eyes, who is this other cat?'" DeSorbo told USA TODAY.

Paige DeSorbo's new cat bag looks a lot like Daphne
The resemblance is apparently close enough. DeSorbo is the face of Fancy Feast's new launch, which debuted Oct. 28 with just 25 handcrafted bags available through a sweepstakes.

"Daphne was elated when I told her [Fancy Feast] reached out," DeSorbo joked. "It was really a Daphne decision."
Each white-cat bag is handmade and hand-embroidered, featuring intricate beadwork, sequins, unexpected textures and playful touches that make every piece unique. There are just 25 handcrafted bags available via a sweepstakes launching at FancyFeast.com/TheLittleGem.
For DeSorbo, the collaboration makes sense beyond the bag's resemblance to Daphne. “I mean, the name fancy is in the brand…and I feel like they are the fanciest of cat foods. Naturally, that’s what Daphne wants.”
Paige DeSorbo says she talks to a pet psychic about Daphne
The designer bag isn't the only luxury in Daphne's life. DeSorbo says she also regularly consults a pet psychic.
“I recently talked to a pet psychic, which I like to do every 6 to 9 months because that’s where I like to spend my money,” DeSorbo said. “And she said that Daphne would like to be groomed now because she feels like she’s getting a little matted under the neck.”
DeSorbo said she got her cat groomed for the first time a few months ago, which she was skeptical about at first but now swears by it.
“Now, we are on an every 3-to-6-month grooming schedule. She likes getting a bath, getting her brushed, her paws are getting trimmed. Nothing crazy, but she really looks forward to it.”
The cat product Paige DeSorbo swears by for Daphne
Aside from a pet psychic and a reliable groomer, DeSorbo swears by keeping a constant stream of running water for her cat. She said one of the biggest lessons she learned when she first got Daphne was that cats require different water supplies than dogs.
“[Water] has to constantly be running for them to be interested in it. It can’t just be a bowl of water and I think that goes perfectly with anything from Fancy Feast. You want them to feel like they’re having a complete meal.”

How Paige DeSorbo would style the Fancy Feast cat bag

Styling a bag as bold as the Little Gem Bag may seem like an insurmountable feat for some, but not for DeSorbo.
The fashion icon said that the bag hops on the maximalist trend that’s taken over the fashion world recently. “There’s a lot of zebra and deer/fawn print in recently. I feel like you can be wearing anything and add this bag and it just adds extra whimsy to your outfit.”
DeSorbo said the bag is perfect for those going to her and Berner’s Giggly Squad tour, the Gehls Gehl tour, which sold out Madison Square Garden. The dress code for the tour is that there is no dress code.
“It’s truly like if you’re going out to dinner with a bunch of your girlfriends and there’s no men around, what would you wear? And that is a range of pajamas to the shortest cutest skirt and a crop top.”
While there may be no official dress code, Giggly Squad listeners will be able to point out the “Paige girls” from the “Hannah girls”―and not just by who is wearing the bag and whose not.
DeSorbo said she sees Paige-inspired girls wearing “truly anything but it’s with a heel.” Whereas the Hannah-inspired girls are wearing “a Hannah shoe” which could range from a flat to a croc-heel.
The Gehls Gehl tour kicks off on January 15 in Miami. Tickets are available now on StubHub and Ticketmaster.
