In an epic comeback, Céline Dion brought powerhouse vocals and couture looks.
Dion, 58, hit the stage to kick off her residency at Plénitude Arena in Nanterre, a Paris suburb, over the weekend – her first concert since March 2020.
The residency follows the pop star's hiatus amid her battle with stiff-person syndrome, a rare neurological condition causing muscle spasms, which she opened up about in her 2024 documentary "I Am: Celine Dion."
Dion's striking performances are going viral on social media, with videos showing her belting hits like "All By Myself" and "My Heart Will Go On."
"It’s so good to see her back! Looking and more importantly sounding amazing. What a fantastically strong woman she is. I love this," one user wrote on X. Another added,
"Warms my heart to see her sing on stage again!!"
Fans react to Dion's fashion: 'Incredible'
Beyond her stage presence, fans have been gushing over Dion's theatrical ensembles: "her stylist is TEARING this...up!!! She looks incredible," an X user wrote. According to Dion's website, creative advisor Annie Horth coordinated her notable looks.
The certified fashionista, who has also been making headlines for her street style in the City of Love, wore a one-of-a-kind black structural Dior gown by Jonathan Anderson for opening night, according to Harper's Bazaar Magazine. She rocked her hair in a slicked-back bun and accessorized with a statement piece, a gigantic Boucheron diamond.
The luxury jewelry brand said in a Sept. 13 Instagram post that it was "proud and deeply touched" that Dion wore the reported 10-carat necklace, dubbed "The Address," which took more than 1,000 hours to complete.
"The Address necklace from the 2026 Histoire de Style High Jewelry collection marked her entrance," Boucheron's post reads. "The necklace takes its name from Boucheron’s own historic 26 Place Vendôme address, a fitting tribute to the location of her tour, Paris, a city particularly close to her heart."
Dion also stunned in a custom Givenchy by Sarah Burton look, featuring an over-the-top dusty pink cape and a detailed, embroidered cutout dress.
Additionally, videos show Dion hitting her notes to her 2002 hit "I'm Alive" in a gold cord-outlined custom Schiaparelli Haute Couture bodysuit and pants designed by Daniel Roseberry. She glided across the stage in a custom Alaïa leather bustier and body-hugging velvet skirt.
"The best outfit of the show! I saw it and she looked so strong and like a divinity in this dress," one fan reacted to the Alaïa piece.
"I made a promise to come back and to be back on stage," Dion said to the audience. "So here I am. Singing for you, and singing for me, singing life. Thank you so very much for your support, your patience, and if I may say so, I am everything I am because you loved me."
