NEW YORK – Court is adjourned.
Charlie Cox, Krysten Ritter and Finn Jones stepped out at New York Comic Con on Oct. 8 to preview the final season of "Daredevil: Born Again."
The superhero show, starring Cox as a blind lawyer who moonlights as a vigilante, ran for three seasons on Netflix before being canceled in 2018, sparking a fan campaign to save it. In 2025, the series returned in a new form on Disney+ with "Daredevil: Born Again." But the revived show, like the original, will end with its upcoming third season.
During Marvel Television's New York Comic Con panel, Cox didn't exactly discourage fans from trying to save the show a second time.

"All I'll say is that I imagine the 'Save Daredevil' campaign will be gearing up for round two," he said
on stage at the panel. "Listen, you don't want to invite the wrath of the 'Save Daredevil' people!"
A first look at Season 3 was shown: The footage began with Ritter's Jessica Jones, Mike Colter's Luke Cage, and Jones' Iron Fist gathered around a table. But Jessica points out that one member of their superhero team, known as the Defenders, is missing: Daredevil, who is in prison after the events of Season 2.
The trailer then shows Daredevil behind bars, where he covers his head with wrapping and fights other inmates.
Season 3 of "Born Again" will reunite all four Defenders on screen after they previously headlined Netflix's "The Defenders" in 2017. During the panel, Ritter said it felt like "no time had passed," while Jones said the first time they reunited on set was "like it was 2016 all over again."
Colter was absent from the panel, which appeared to come as a surprise to his costars. "We just found out that he wasn't going to be here," Cox said.
The Marvel panel also teased upcoming seasons of the Disney+ animated shows "Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man" and "X-Men '97," and it was revealed that the horror-themed show "Marvel Zombies" will have new specials each Halloween through 2029: "Marvel Zombies: The Winter Soldier," "Marvel Zombies: The Fist of Khonshu," and "Marvel Zombies: The Last Guardian."

Marvel also teased a mysterious new series titled "Zodiac." Little about the show was revealed outside of a logo, though Marvel Television boss Brad Winderbaum described it as a spy thriller that begins shooting in London in the spring.
"I'm sure there's going to be lots of spoilers because we're going to start casting it in the next couple of weeks," he said, adding, "That's all you're getting – because it's supposed to be a secret!" The show debuts in 2028.
