The most dominant teams – so far – at the 2026 Little League World Series will get their spotlight moment on Thursday, August 6. That’s when the winner’s bracket teams will resume play at the tournament after having some time to rest and recuperate for the final days of the tournament.
The purple bracket game will start the action as Florida (2-0) and North Carolina (2-0) meet at 1 p.m. ET on ESPN with a spot in the bracket championship game on Saturday, August 8 on the line.
What happens to the loser of that game? Well, they are still alive in the tournament – but would have to play and win on Friday, August 7 and on Saturday to get to the LLSWS championship game on Sunday, August 9. The orange bracket game will follow at 5 p.m. on ESPN as Kentucky
(2-0) challenges Puerto Rico (1-0) to complete the Thursday doubleheader. The same scenario exists for game 2: a win gets you a day of rest to play again on Saturday, a loss means you have to play three straight days to get to the LLSWS championship game.USA TODAY Sports will have live coverage and updates from today's games at the Little League Softball World Series in Greenville, North Carolina.
