Kelly Osbourne is opening up about her health journey amid her severe grief following dad Ozzy Osbourne's death.
In an Oct. 10 interview with The Sun, she revealed she has gained 2 stone, or 28 pounds, since photos of the former reality star at the 2026 BRIT Awards in February concerned fans.
"I didn't know that I looked like that until I saw the pictures," she said of the photos, which showed the former "Fashion Police" cohost visibly gaunt. "When I saw them, I couldn't ... believe it. I was as shocked as everyone else."
She added, "It wasn't an eating disorder. I just couldn't do anything for myself."
The award show appearance came seven months after the death of the Black Sabbath frontman and Osbourne's father at age 76 from a heart attack. The weight
loss also came amid reports about Osbourne's split from one-time fiancé Sid Wilson.
"It's been the worst year of my life. In so many ways, I can't even explain to you," she told The Sun. "But it's also been really beautiful because I've learned that my grief is an honor, as I truly love someone that much."

Osbourne also opened up about the "woo-woo" way she went to her late father for help, and her mom, Sharon Osbourne, answering the call.
"I do candle magic a lot. My dad told me he would send me messages. It felt like everything inside me was dead, and I didn't want my son to see me like this," she said. "I went to my dad's grave with a white candle and I wrote a wish on it saying, 'Please help me.' The next day, my mom showed up in a black Mercedes with a man in a mustard-colored jacket."
The man, a therapist and life coach, saved her life "in so many ways I never thought possible," she told The Sun.
Osbourne has previously spoken out about receiving a monthslong slew of cruel comments about her appearance. In March, she called the commentary "a special kind of cruelty."
"I'm currently going through the hardest time in my life. I should not even have to defend myself," she wrote in an Instagram story at the time. "But I won't sit here and allow myself to be dehumanized in such a way."
In a September interview with Hello magazine, Osbourne acknowledged that she struggled to process the comments.
"I didn't navigate it – I wasn't well," Osbourne told the publication. "How can you navigate something so cruel when you're so sick?"
