Following her arrest on fraud charges late last year, "The Real Housewives of Potomac" star Wendy Osefo said she is ready for viewers to see both the good and bad aspects of the cast's personal lives in the show's upcoming 11th season.
The TV personality, 42, discussed what fans can expect going into Season 11 at the New York City premiere of "Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th" on Aug. 4. The Bravo series debuts on Sunday, Aug. 9.
"The beauty of 'Housewives' is, you guys are able to see us at our highest points and, unfortunately, our lowest points," she told People.
She continued: "That does not escape anyone on this show. And so, this season I’m just living my truth, and you guys will get to see that."
Osefo previously addressed
the Oct. 9 arrests of her and her husband Eddie Osefo, 42, in November at BravoCon, where she called it an "unfortunate situation."
"Right now I can’t say too much, but I will say when the time is right,” she said. "I will share my story with everyone. And for now, they’re just allegations. So we will continue to push forward."
Wendy and Eddie Osefo were arrested on fraud charges
Wendy and Eddie Osefo were both arrested in Westminster, Maryland, on Oct. 9, after allegedly "fraudulently reporting a burglary and theft" in 2024, according to the Carroll County Sheriff's Office.
Their arrests followed a police investigation into a reported burglary in their home on April 7, 2024. The sheriff's office said the couple reported that around "80 items of jewelry, luxury goods, clothing and shoes were stolen, worth a total of more than $200,000" went missing after they returned home from vacation.
"They are grateful for the outpouring of concern and support from friends, fans and colleagues," a representative for Wendy Osefo said in a statement shared with USA TODAY after the arrests. "The Osefos, alongside their legal team, look forward to their day in court. At this time, they respectfully ask for privacy as they focus on their family and the legal process ahead."
Prosecutors charged the couple with seven counts of insurance fraud, eight counts of conspiracy to commit insurance fraud and one count of making a false statement to a police officer, according to the Baltimore Banner. Their trial is set for Jan. 25, 2027.
