Ryan Murphy's FX anthology series "American Horror Story" is back on television this fall, and the 13th season includes a star-studded cast.

Among them is Angela Bassett, who is reportedly reprising her role as Marie Laveau. The award-winning actress spoke to "Good Morning America" about returning to the series.

"It truly is just one of the most exhilarating characters of my entire career," Bassett said. "So to be able to come back and play with all those wonderful women of characters ... so much fun."

Three episodes will premiere on Thursday, Sept. 24, at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT on FX. According to Variety, the episodes will also be available to stream on Hulu.

Fans have been understandably excited about the return of the show's 13th season. On the verified "AHS" Instagram account, users flooded the comments on a post showcasing the show's trailer. One person commented, "We’re having an Avengers Endgame type of event, people" while another chimed in with, "It’s a great time to be an American Horror Story fan. 🩸🔥"

Additionally, a fan account on Threads dedicated to promoting the series shared a list of 13 episodes fans can watch from prior seasons ahead of the new season premiere.
