Los Angeles Rams safety Quentin Lake created the first turnover of the team's season with an interception in the season opener against the San Francisco 49ers on Thursday, Sept. 10, at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Melbourne, Australia.
The former UCLA football player recorded his first interception after jumping ahead of 49ers tight end George Kittle and catching 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy’s pass with 12:04 left in the second quarter.
Lake and his teammates ran to the end zone after the play to perform a coordinated sleep celebration.
