Chicago Bears RB D'Andre Swift had 22 carries, 78 yards, and a touchdown against the New England Patriots in Week 7. He added 12 yards on four receptions.

Why It Matters: With Kyle Monangai (thumb, toe) out for a third straight game, Swift was again the primary ball carrier on Thursday night. The result: 26 touches, 90 yards, one TD. In three games without Monangai, Swift has averaged 78 yards and 1.33 TDs. That's respectable production, but the veteran hasn't come close to matching what he did back in Week 1 (18-124-3). Given how strong Monangai was running before his injury coupled with Swift's middling production in Monangai's absence, it's fair to wonder what the split will look like when both backs are healthy. For the moment,
Swift is playable as a low-end RB2, but this might be a time to consider trading the veteran back if you can get a nice return. It wouldn't be shocking to see Monangai leading this backfield as the season wears on.
