Dairy Queen is gearing up for fall with a brand-new Blizzard flavor, and no, it's not pumpkin spice.
On Aug. 3, Dairy Queen unveiled its new Caramel Apple Cheesecake Blizzard, made with cheesecake pieces and caramel apple topping. The ice cream treat is the chain's August Blizzard of the Month.
Pumpkin spice season continues to arrive earlier and earlier each year. Also on Aug. 3, Starbucks and Dunkin' announced the return of their pumpkin spice lattes. Starbucks' returns on Aug. 25 and Dunkin' on Aug. 19.
As pumpkin spice latte season nears, here's what to know about Dairy Queen's latest fall treat.

In addition to the Caramel Apple Cheesecake Blizzard, Dairy Queen's Fall Treat
Collection includes:
- Brown Sugar Cookie Dough Blizzard (New): Brown sugar cookie dough pieces blended with soft serve and brown sugar topping
- Toasted Marshmallow Mocha DQ Coffee Chiller (New): Cold brew blended with soft serve, cocoa fudge and topped with whipped cream and cocoa fudge
- Pumpkin Pie Blizzard: Pumpkin pie pieces blended with soft serve and topped with whipped cream and nutmeg
When is Dairy Queen's Fall Treat Collection available?
The complete Fall Treat Collection is available starting Aug. 31. The Caramel Apple Cheesecake Blizzard is available now.
Dairy Queen offers Double Flip offer for August
Through Aug. 30, Dairy Queen rewards members can buy one Blizzard and get a second for 99 cents when ordering through the DQ mobile app. This promotion is available once a day, through the end of August.
