Vanessa Trump shared a promising health update five months after announcing she was diagnosed with breast cancer.
"Just recently I had a breast MRI and it came back clear, so I'm finally cancer free," she said in an Oct. 24 YouTube video alongside her daughter, Kai.
Trump, 48, shared the news of her diagnosis in a statement on Instagram in May, writing at the time that she had undergone a procedure and was working with doctors on a treatment plan.
The former model was previously married to Donald Trump Jr., the eldest son of President Donald Trump, from 2005 to 2018. The pair share five children, including Kai, a collegiate golfer.
More recently, Vanessa Trump has been in the spotlight for her relationship with golfer Tiger Woods.
In the new video,
which features Kai and Vanessa Trump sitting together, they also shared a photo of Vanessa next to the cancer bell at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York alongside Kai, son Donald Trump III and Woods.
Vanessa Trump details arm pain before cancer diagnosis
In the video, Kai and Vanessa Trump discussed the former model's cancer diagnosis and treatment. For a portion of the video, Dr. Nicole Saphier,a radiologist at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and President Trump's latest pick for surgeon general, joined the mother and daughter.
Vanessa Trump said she first noticed something was wrong when she was experiencing arm pain for several months.

"And then feeling something in my left breast, which freaks me out because growing up I always heard if you feel something that's like a pea size in your breast to run right away," she said.
Saphier said Vanessa Trump had "nerve involvement," meaning the cancer was pressing on nerves. But the doctor emphasized that breast cancer is "not one-size-fits-all."
"It feels different for everyone. You started with arm pain because you had nerve involvement," Saphier said. "Some people feel a little mass. Sometimes it's a pea, it's a golf ball, sometimes it's a lemon."
Vanessa Trump reveals new details about breast cancer diagnosis
Vanessa Trump also shared more details about her exact diagnosis, revealing that she battled invasive ductal carcinoma (IDC).
According to Johns Hopkins Medicine, IDC is the most common form of breast cancer, accounting for 80% of all breast cancer diagnoses.
IDC happens when abnormal cells growing in the lining of the milk ducts change and invade breast tissue, per Johns Hopkins.
The mom of five said she ultimately underwent a lumpectomy, a surgery to remove the tumor and a small rim of healthy breast tissue, according to the Mayo Clinic.
A lumpectomy allows patients to keep most of their breast, whereas a mastectomy, a different type of surgery, removes the whole breast, per Mayo Clinic.
