Indiana Fever guard Ty Harris will miss the remainder of the season, the team announced Saturday, Sept. 26.
Harris broke her left fibula in the third quarter of Thursday’s game against the Minnesota Lynx. She went down after taking an awkward fall with 3:28 remaining in the third quarter. Harris, who had four points in 11 minutes off the bench, couldn't put any weight on the leg and was carried off the court at Target Center in Minneapolis.
A seven-year veteran, Harris has played in 39 games this season and started four. She is averaging 4.1 points and 2.0 assists in 13.6 minutes a game. She is a key part of the Fever's depth in the backcourt behind Caitlin Clark and Kelsey Mitchell.
The Fever open the postseason at 4 p.m. ET on Sunday at Las Vegas
(ABC). The Aces knocked the Fever out of the playoffs last season, beating them in five game in the semifinals on their way to their third title in four years.
