O Positiv expands beyond women's wellness with a new hair growth supplement

O Positiv Health is adding a new category to its growing women's wellness portfolio.
The brand behind URO Vaginal Probiotic just announced the launch of URO Hair Growth + Volume, a once-daily dietary supplement designed to support healthier, fuller-looking hair in women. The launch marks the brand's first entry into the hair wellness space after building a large following through its vaginal health and hormonal wellness products.
According to O Positiv, the supplement was developed to help address a concern many women experience throughout their lives: hair thinning and shedding.
"Over the past few years, countless women have reached out to us sharing their struggles with hair thinning brought on by life's daily challenges, including stress, menopause,
and more," said Brianna Bitton, co-founder of URO by O Positiv Health, in a press release.
What's inside URO Hair Growth + Volume?
The supplement's hero ingredient is Serevelle, a proprietary saw palmetto extract that O Positiv says has been clinically studied for its ability to support healthy hair growth, thickness and density.
Other key ingredients include:
- Holy Basil, traditionally used to support stress management
- Biotin
- Iron
- Vitamin C
- Vitamin B12
- Selenium
The formula is designed to support daily nutrition while helping address deficiencies sometimes associated with hair loss.

Why is women's hair health important?
O Positiv cites research showing that as many as half of women experience some form of hair loss by age 80. The company says it saw a need for solutions specifically designed with women's health concerns in mind, including hormonal changes, menopause and everyday stressors.

The brand also highlights convenience as a key differentiator. Unlike some competing supplements that require multiple capsules daily, URO Hair Growth + Volume is formulated as a single daily capsule.
In a 90-day, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical study, users experienced:
- 12.8x hair density improvement vs. placebo₁
- 7.8x thicker, healthier hair strands vs. placebo₁
- 70% reduction in hair shedding in menopausal women₁

What dermatologists are saying
Dr. Kavita Mariwalla, a double board-certified dermatologist and Mohs surgeon, said the product stands out because of its ingredient combination.
According to Mariwalla, the supplement takes a targeted approach to hair follicle support by combining Serevelle with nutrients commonly associated with hair health, all in a once-daily format.
