Taco Bell and Duolingo are teaming up and giving you a chance to snag a freebie.
Taco Bell will give away 1,000 limited-edition plushies worldwide designed after Duo, Duolingo's iconic green owl mascot, wearing a Taco Bell uniform and headset.
This is all in honor of National Taco Day, or "Global Taco Day," as the two companies have joined forces to call the day this year.
Here's more about how to get the Duo plushie and more about Taco Bell x Duolingo's "Global Taco Day" collaboration.
How can I get the Duo plushie?
In the U.S., you will need to be a Taco Bell Rewards member for a chance to receive a plushie, according to a Taco Bell news release.
Members can visit Taco Bell's Tuesday
Drops page on Oct. 6 from 5 p.m. ET to 6 p.m. ET while supplies last. The limit is one entry per person. Additional giveaways are planned in several international markets.
How much is the Duo plushie?

The Duo plushie is free for those who can snag it during the giveaway. It is valued at $30, according to the news release. There's no word yet on whether the plushie will eventually be available for purchase after the giveaway.
If I win the giveaway, when will I get the Duo plushie?
If you are selected to get the Duo plushie, you won't know right away or get the plushie right then. Winners will be notified by email around Oct. 9, according to the news release.
Other 'Global Taco Day' details
In addition to the plushie, Taco Bell is unveiling a limited-edition spicy sauce inspired by Duo called Duo Habanero sauce. Taco Bell describes the new sauce as bright and tangy, with fruity notes and habanero heat that builds with each bite. The sauce will be available at participating Taco Bell restaurants in the U.S., Canada, Australia, China, India, Spain and the United Kingdom while supplies last.
In the U.S., customers can get one free packet with the purchase of a Doritos Locos Taco. Additional packets will be available for 20 cents each.

The collaboration also puts a language-learning twist on Taco Bell's familiar sauce packets. The limited-edition packets will feature taco-themed sayings in nine languages:
- English
- Spanish
- French
- Hindi
- Portuguese
- German
- Korean
- Mandarin
- Japanese
The sauce was created exclusively for the Taco Bell x Duolingo collaboration. Its packaging features Duo and incorporates language lessons into Taco Bell's traditional "sauce wisdoms."
The companies say the collaboration is built around the word "taco," which they say remains largely recognizable across more than 30 languages.
Taco Bell Rewards members can also receive one free month of Super Duolingo as part of the "Global Taco Day" promotion.
The offer is available through Oct. 6 and is limited to Rewards members who are not current Duolingo subscribers. Codes must be redeemed by Nov. 15 and remain active for 30 days after activation.
Where is Taco Bell celebrating 'Global Taco Day'?
Taco Bell and Duolingo will mark the occasion with events in several cities.
In New York City, Duo and his friends will be at Taco Bell's Midtown Cantina from 3-4:30 p.m. ET on Oct. 6. The event will include tacos, Duo Habanero Sauce, language lessons and giveaways.
Additional events are planned in Mumbai, India, Toronto, and Shanghai.
Taco Bell has expanded its National Taco Day promotions in recent years, launching the Taco Lover's Pass in 2022, helping open up "Taco Tuesday" to restaurants nationwide in 2023 and moving National Taco Day to the first Tuesday in October in 2024.
