The Los Angeles Dodgers are still heavy favorites to win the World Series, despite their recent slump.
Shohei Ohtani and Kyle Tucker helped the Dodgers snap a seven-game losing streak Saturday, earning a 2-1 victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks.
The Dodgers remain in a comfortable spot with a 70-47 record and an 8.5-game lead over the Diamondbacks in the National League West.
Ohtani had an infield single to first base that brought Tucker in to score what would be the game-winning run in the 10th inning.
It will be players such as Ohtani, the two-way star, and Tucker, who was acquired during the offseason, who will be looked at to continue leading the way toward another World Series crown.

Series three-peat, which would add a 10th championship to the trophy case at Dodger Stadium.

The Dodgers remain heavy favorites to win the World Series at +155 on BetMGM as of 12:30 a.m. ET on Sunday, Aug. 9. The New York Yankees are the second favorites at +750, followed by the Milwaukee Brewers at +1000.
When do Dodgers play next?
The Dodgers will take on the Diamondbacks in the third game of the weekend series on Sunday, Aug. 9 at 1:10 p.m. PT. The Dodgers will return to Dodger Stadium on Monday, Aug. 10 for the start of a three-game series against the Kansas City Royals. Tarik Skubal is slated to make his home debut on the mound Monday.
