Car manufacturer FCA US LLC, a subsidiary of Stellantis, has recalled more than 848,000 Jeep, Chrysler, Dodge and Ram vehicles in the United States over issues with their rearview camera displays.
The recall applies to some vehicles in the 2026 and 2027 model years, according to an Aug. 17 recall notice published on Stellantis' website. It has not yet been published on the website for the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, which tracks car recalls.
The issue stems from the impacted vehicles' radio software. According to the recall notice, it may prevent the rearview camera image from appearing on the vehicle's media screen.
In addition to the more than 848,000 vehicles recalled in the U.S., another roughly 106,000 vehicles in Canada,
Mexico and markets outside North America are also impacted. The company said it is not aware of any accidents or injuries.

What to do if your car is affected
The recall notice said drivers of the affected vehicles will receive an over-the-air radio software update. A prompt will appear on the vehicle's media screen when the update is available.
FCA US LLC will mail out recall notices to affected customers beginning in September with additional information, according to the statement.
