Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jayden Reed (neck) suffered a neck injury in the first quarter of the Week 2 game against the New York Jets, and he has been ruled out for the remainder of the game. He was carted off, and removed on a back board as a precaution.
In addition, Green Bay Packers OT Zach Bako-Bewele (knee) was also ruled out due to a knee injury.
Reed was injured on a tackle by linebacker Demario Davis, who didn't intentionally make contact to the head, but his shoulder pad hit Reed in the head as he was making a tackle. Reed will finish the afternoon with a single catch for four yards on his lone target.

Why it Matters: With Reed on the sideline, Christian Watson and Tucker Kraft figure to see a majority
of the targets in the passing game still. Matthew Golden and Skyy Moore could see more reps in the passing game with Reed on the shelf. The loss of Bako-Bewele also is bad news for the protection of Jordan Love, and the run game featuring MarShawn Lloyd, as it's never good to lose a starting offensive lineman.
