There is a European trophy on the line when Paris Saint-Germain and Aston Villa meet for the UEFA Super Cup in Salzburg, Austria on Wednesday, August 12.
PSG, the back-to-back winners of the UEFA Champions League, won this trophy last time around, seeing off Tottenham Hotspur on penalty kicks. Now, it's another Premier League foe, UEFA Europa League winners Aston Villa.
Both teams will be missing stars who are still working back to fitness after taking part in the World Cup and getting time off ahead of the resumption of domestic play on Aug. 23 for both clubs.

Yet, there will still be plenty of quality on display, with PSG's Georgian attacker Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Villa summer signing Alejandro Garnacho
both likely to feature for their teams, hoping to spur their respective attacks.
