When does 2026 NBA season start?
Opening day of the NBA is Tuesday, Oct. 20 with three games highlighting the day. The Pistons and Celtics get things underway at 3 p.m. ET, followed by the New York Knicks vs. Philadelphia 76ers, and finally the San Antonio Spurs vs. OKC Thunder in a Western Conference Finals rematch. Tickets to all three games are now available.
