For one weekend only, Starbucks fans across the country can close out the summer with a special treat: the Unicorn Frappuccino.
Starbucks announcedearlier this year that it would bring back the Unicorn Frappuccino drink to stores starting on Aug. 15. The company alluded to the drink in a cryptic June Instagram post
that read: "three days only. see you later this summer." Those days begin this Saturday, Aug. 15.This weekend marks the first time in nearly ten years that the drink has been available for purchase at Starbucks locations. In 2017, the drink went viral online for its color-changing liquid and dusted whipped cream topping.
Earlier this year, Starbucks teased the drink's return at the 2026 Coachella music festival.

When will the Unicorn Frappuccino be available?
Stabucks will be offering the specialty Unicorn Frappuccino drink this weekend only, beginning on Saturday, Aug. 15.
What is a Unicorn Frappuccino?
The drink is a "sweet and tart blend of creamy mango flavors, tangy blue drizzle, whipped cream, and pink and blue topping" according to Starbucks. After you mix the beverage with a straw, the drink changes color and taste.
The drink's flavor has received mixed reactions from both baristas and customers. One person commented on Reddit that the drink tasted "like a weaker version of some sour skittles."
Where can I get a Unicorn Frappuccino in Washington?
Starbucks announced that the drink would be coming to "coffeehouses across the United States, Canada, Mexico, Asia Pacific, Europe, Middle East and North Africa."
There are more than 650 Starbuckslocations in Washington, including the first brick and mortar Starbucks shop in Seattle's Pike Place Market. The company shut down two Reserve Roastery locations in Seattle last year.
