Caitlin Clark's first signature Nike basketball shoe is almost available to purchase, giving fans a chance to own a pair of sneakers the Indiana Fever star has spent more than a year helping develop.
The Nike Caitlin 1 is designed around Clark's fast-paced style, including her quick first step, step-back shots and ability to create space. The shoe also includes personal touches tied to Clark, including her initials, jersey number and signature.
Clark, 24, has previously said she wanted her signature shoe to be different from the Kobe Bryant Nike models she frequently wore on court before getting her own sneaker.

When does the Nike Caitlin 1 come out?
The Nike Caitlin 1 will be available on Oct. 1, 2026.
How much will Caitlin Clark's shoe cost?
The adult version will cost $140 in
North America. Nike lists the big kids' version at $100 and the little kids' version at $90.
Nike also says the shoe will cost $135 in select international markets.
What colors will the Caitlin 1 come in?
The first Caitlin 1 release is a primarily blue colorway Nike dubbed the "Caitlin Blue."
Nike has also shown a yellow version with blue accents, which the company says is an inverted take on the blue shoe. Additional Caitlin 1 colorways include hot pink and red, white and blue, purple and crimson, and light brown and tan. These additional colorways are expected to arrive over the coming months.
Where can you buy the Caitlin 1?
Nike.com and select Nike Basketball retailers will sell the Caitlin 1. Nike currently lists the blue adult, big kids and little kids versions on its website.
What technology is in the Caitlin 1?
Nike designed the Caitlin 1 to help Clark move quickly and change direction on the court. Its upper provides support while keeping the shoe lightweight.
The shoe also has Nike's Air Zoom Turbo cushioning in the front and Cushlon foam throughout the midsole. Together, they are designed to give Clark a responsive feel while helping her stay connected to the court.
Clark told Nike she wanted the shoe to help her get off the ground faster, create more space with her step-back and release her shots more quickly.
How long has Caitlin Clark been working on her shoe?
Clark began publicly discussing her signature shoe in 2025, saying the project had already been in development for about a year and a half.
At the time, Clark said she wanted the shoe to feel unique rather than simply being another version of the Nike Kobe Bryant shoes she had worn throughout her career. She also said she wanted to give fans different colorways and collaborations to look forward to.
Clark signed an eight-year, $28 million deal with Nike in 2024 after other major athletic brands showed interest in the former Iowa Hawkeye.
