Callum Turner is revealing a piece of wisdom George Clooney shared with him as he started to become a Hollywood leading man.
"Every time I get to be in a movie and then being able to celebrate a film with everyone here, I always watch the premiere," he told Entertainment Tonight on the red carpet of the Aug. 3 premiere of his new movie "One Night Only" in New York City.
The "Eternity" actor, 36, explained that after he worked with Clooney, 65, on the 2023 film "The Boys in the Boat," they attended multiple premieres together. By the third, Turner decided he would go home after the red carpet before the "Ocean's Eleven" star convinced him to stay.
"He went, 'Why are you leaving?' And I said, 'Well, because I've seen it already, and twice,' and he
said, Yeah, but you'll never get this opportunity again,'" Turner explained. "This is the moment to celebrate, and celebrate the work, and the work of everyone on the crew and beyond. I love these moments. They're always pinch-me moments."
Clooney directed the biographical sports drama portraying the true story of the University of Washington rowing team competing for gold at the 1936 Olympics in Berlin at the height of the Great Depression. Turner played Joe Rantz, a strong rower who was abandoned by his father.
Turner's new film is a rom-com where he and costar Monica Barbaro play singles in an "ever-so-slightly fictionalized New York City" where premarital sex is only allowed one night each year.

Turner, of course, brought his pop star wife as his plus one to the movie premiere.
The "Levitating" singer donned a custom Ferragamo black viscose jersey gown with somewhat visible embossed leather croc-print pumps, styled by Lorenzo Posocco. Turner wore a dark blue double-breasted suit styled with a pale yellow dress shirt and a striped brown tie.
It was their first red carpet appearance as a married couple following their two weddings in recent months. The couple married legally sometime in May in an intimate ceremony before having a grander one near the Sicilian capital, Palermo, on June 6.
Lipa and Turner met at pre-party drinks for a mutual friend's birthday in Los Angeles, the "Fantastic Beasts" actor revealed in an October interview with The Sunday Times. He shared that they hit it off after bonding over reading the same novel, Hernán Díaz's "Trust."
"I told her and she looked at me and said, 'I just finished the first chapter too,'" Turner continued, before revealing a smooth pickup line: "I said, 'So we’re on the same page.'"
