With a win on Saturday night combined with Chicago's loss against Colorado, Cleveland locked up the No. 2 seed in the AL, meaning the team has a bye in the wild card round, and will advance directly to the ALDS.

The Guardians will play the winner of the No. 3 vs. No. 6 AL wild card series. Going into the final day of the season, we do not yet know who will win the AL West and earn the No. 3 seed. However, the Chicago White Sox will be the No. 6 seed, setting up the possibility for a rivalry ALDS between the White Sox and Guardians.
