A cargo plane lit up the night sky in a fiery landing after its brakes locked at Los Angeles International Airport on Aug. 26, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) reported.
The DHL Boeing 737-800, operated by Kalitta Charters II, departed from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. The incident occurred during its landing at LAX about 11 p.m., the FAA told USA TODAY.
As Flight 814 touched down, the FAA said, the aircraft’s brakes locked and four tires blew, causing a fire.
Footage of the incident shows the plane landing on the runway with flames shooting from the bottom of the jet.
No injuries were reported.

The FAA said it will investigate the incident.
