Margaret Qualley has social media buzzing over her toes.
During the London premiere of her upcoming film "The Dog Stars," Qualley wore head-to-toe Chanel from Matthieu Blazy's Cruise 2027 collection. The 31-year-old actress stepped out in a black, fringed plunge-neckline dress, but it was her shoes that quickly stole the spotlight.
Qualley wore Chanel's viral "barefoot" sandals, featuring a leather heel cap, the brand's iconic logo and ankle ties that leave her soles and toes completely exposed. The unconventional
shoes have sparked plenty of conversation online, with some calling them the latest "barefoot" shoe trend and others wondering if they're even shoes at all.
The look is certainly not for everyone, but Qualley isn't the first celebrity to embrace unconventional footwear on the red carpet. Her Chanel sandals are part of a growing interest in barely-there shoes that blur the line between fashion and going barefoot.
