Why It Matters: Much was made during the offseason about Green Bay's decision to trade away Dontayvion Wicks and allow Romeo Doubs to depart in free agency. While it may have affected the team's depth, it allowed the Packers to focus on the trio of Christian Watson, Jayden Reed, and Golden. The Texas product directly stepped into the role vacated by Doubs, who had been the high-volume target, so it shouldn't have been a huge surprise that Golden was targeted a dozen times to lead the team. While he left some plays on the field, his involvement should be a sign to grab him off waivers if he somehow
went undrafted. He's probably floating around that WR3/WR4 range right now, but with another couple of games like this one he could solidify midrange WR3 status with the distinct possibility of more.
