The WNBA Finalsare underway!
The Golden State Valkyries are facing the Atlanta Dream, which means that one of the franchises will get their first title and a new champion will be crowned.
Players on both teams dressed for the occasion for Game 1 on Saturday, Oct. 17. The Valkyries established an early lead in the series by taking the matchup 68-64 in Ballhalla.
Gabby Williams impressed with a game-high 26 points in the Golden State win and set the tone before tipoff with her fashion statement in the tunnel. Angel Reese, who always has fans on the edge of their seats to see what sartorial choices she makes, had 14 points for the Dream. She was one of three Atlanta players to score double digits.
Here's the best looks of the WNBA Finals Game 1:
Gabby Williams
Gabby
Williams was ready to be crowned in a princess-like dress that featured a white bedazzled corset and pink satin skirt. It’s a custom look from RIAH, the athlete-focused brand from PWHL player Mariah Keopple. The little white Miu Miu purse was chic.

Jordin Canada
Jordin Canada brought her game face in this sporty look. She wore a graphic T-shirt with a scarab, a symbol for rebirth, and baggy black tear-off pants. A sleek pair of shades and some Rick Owens sneakers topped everything off nicely.
Veronica Burton
Veronica Burton might be wearing camo, but her look was a must-see. She wore a sleeveless black turtleneck and high-waisted straightleg camouflage pants. Tying everything together with a black belt and pumps was a solid choice.
Burton got some love from NBA star Stephen Curry when he wore her Valkyries jersey for Golden State Warriors practice before the big game.

Angel Reese
Angel Reese went cozy for her WNBA Finals debut. She wore a white sweatsuit with cheetah print stripes, an excellent detail. This look might be on the more casual side for the fashionista, who has attended the Met Gala, but the crossbody Chanel muff was an accessory only the most elite can pull off.
Indya Nivar
Indya Nivar was preppy in a cropped red and blue quarter zip sweater. She paired it with oversized ripped jean shorts and eye-catching red Puma sneakers for excellent coordination. Well done, rook!

Kaila Charles
Kaila Charles turned heads by wearing a sheer black flowing cape that put her rock solid abs on display. The jeans with a V pattern are from Vaquera and are SO cool. The red sandals add a great pop of color.

Tiffany Hayes
Tiffany Hayes meant business in her fit. She wore a button-up shirt from Marni with a fun pattern called Dance Bunny. She tucked it halfway into her slouchy pleated black pants and added a Diesel belt like a boss.
