Victor Wembanyama continues to do things never seen on a basketball court.
It took just one half, but the Spurs phenom absolutely torched San Antonio’s in-state rivals Wednesday, Nov. 4.
Overall, the Spurs dropped 68 points, but Wembanyama recorded 42.6% of those all by himself. He was also dominant on the glass; while the Mavericks scooped up 31 boards in the first half, Wembanyama collected nearly half of that.
He was an absolute force down low. All seven of his converted field goals came within the restricted area. He also made all 15 of his free throw attempts in the half.
How dominant was he? Wembanyama became the first player since 1997-98 to reach at least 25 points, 10 rebounds and 5 blocks in a half.
The Spurs took a 68-51 lead into intermission
