There is less than one month until early voting starts in Georgia's midterm elections.
Early voting starts on Oct. 13 in the Peach State, and while many voters may be aware of some of the top races on their ballot, races across the state are taking place and will have major impacts on everything from education to healthcare to taxes.
There are both statewide and local district races up for election this November, so make sure to check out the GA My Voter Page to find your sample ballot for local races in your district.
Here's what is on the ballot across the state.
The U.S. Senate race
At the top of the ballot is the race for a U.S. Senate seat, where incumbent Democratic Senator Jon Ossoff is fighting to keep his seat against Trump-endorsed Republican House Rep. Mike
Collins.
Ossoff won the seat in a January 2021 runoff, and is now up for reelection. His fellow Georgia senator, Rev. Raphael Warnock, is not up for reelection this year. The U.S. Senate seat is a six-year term.
The Georgia governor's race
Democratic former mayor of Atlanta Keisha Lance Bottoms is taking on Republican healthcare executive Rick Jackson for the governor's seat, taking over from Gov. Brian Kemp after he served two terms.
Bottoms won the Democratic primary with a clear lead, but Jackson had to go through a runoff race against current Lt. Gov. Burt Jones to win the nomination for his party.
Polls show the governor's race to be incredibly tight, easily swayed by voters who are still undecided.

- Tyler Harper (R-Incumbent) vs Katherine E. Juhan-Arnold (D)
Commissioner of Insurance
- John King (R-Incumbent) vs Keisha Sean Waites (D)
Commissioner of Labor
- Bárbara Rivera Holmes (R-Incumbent) vs Nikki Porcher (D)
State School Superintendent
- Richard Woods (R-Incumbent) vs Lydia Powell (D)
Public Service Commissioner District 3
- Fitz Johnson (R) vs Peter Hubbard (D-Incumbent)
Public Service Commissioner District 5
- Josh Tolbert (R) vs Shelia Edwards (D)

State constitutional amendments
There are three constitutional amendments on the ballot for Georgia:
- Increases the maximum qualifying acreage for assessment and taxation as bona fide conservation use property (House Resolution 32)
- Provides for the nonpartisan election of all probate court judges (House Resolution 251)
- Authorizes creation of Georgia Next Generation 9-1-1 Fund for 9-1-1 systems expansion, maintenance, and operation (House Resolution 1243)
