The Chicago White Sox are quickly becoming the road warriors of the MLB playoffs.
After sweeping the Astros in Houston during the American League wild-card round, Chicago opened the ALDS by shutting out the Cleveland Guardians 3-0 on Saturday at Progressive Field.
Now the White Sox have a chance to seize control of the series.
A victory Monday would send them back home with a 2-0 lead and within one win of their first American League championship series appearance since their 2005 World Series-winning season.
The Guardians, meanwhile, are trying to avoid heading to Chicago facing elimination, with MLB strikeout leader Gavin Williams set to take the mound in a crucial Game 2.
