Philadelphia Eagles WR DeVonta Smith caught seven of 14 targets for 75 yards and a touchdown in a Week 6 loss to the Carolina Panthers.

Why It Matters: Many analysts predicted Smith to have a breakout season in 2026, but a rash of injuries - including one to Smith himself - has kept that from happening so far. The sixth-year veteran set a career high in targets in this one after missing the last two weeks with a hamstring injury. It might be a bit of a bumpy road the rest of the way - certainly for as long as Tanner McKee is his quarterback - but volume should not be an issue for him. (He's averaging 10.3 targets per game in four games this season.) He could catch a bit of a break in Week 7 as the struggling Cowboys pay a visit
to Philly on Monday night. Smith could push for WR1 production in that one, although he is a safer WR2 bet.
