More than 175,000 air fryer ovens sold at Target are being recalled due to a burn hazard.
According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, Gourmia Stainless 9-Slice Digital Air Fryer's doors "unexpectedly close when bumped" while retrieving food. If the door closes, it could burn a person as they use the appliance.
In the recall notice posted on Nov. 5, the kitchen appliance company said it received 57 reports of the issue. Additionally, they noted 40 incidents of "burns to consumer hands or wrists."
