New England Patriots WR A.J. Brown had three receptions for 48 yards against the Chicago Bears in Week 7. Brown was targeted six times in the loss.

Why It Matters: Brown returned from IR in Week 6 to catch three balls (on 10 targets) for 27 yards. Four days later, his production wasn't much better, so if you were hoping he'd shaken off the rust and would look like the WR1 the Patriots were hoping for when they made the trade, you came away disappointed. At this point, it's unclear what's the more unappealing scenario for Brown, who either isn't fully recovered from the high-ankle sprain he suffered in Week 1 or is struggling to transition to New England's offense after four years in Philly. Fantasy owners have a tough decision
to make in Week 8. Do you stick Brown in your lineup and hope he puts things together against a Dolphins defense that has fared well against receivers? Or do you bench someone you doubtless spent a first- or second-round pick to acquire? Either way, the one thing you shouldn't do is cut bait. Brown's value will never be lower, and it's better to wait and hope he finds his way out the other side.
