"The Young and the Restless" alum Brenda Dickson has won the legal battle stemming from her July arrest.
Los Angeles County judge Alma D. Puente dismissed a civil harassment restraining order case against Dickson, 77, during a Monday, Aug. 24 hearing, after the soap star filed a response pushing back on the request, according to documents obtained by USA TODAY.
The petitioner was listed as Richard Chamberlin, who Dickson said owned the house where she had been renting a room and where she was arrested for alleged misdemeanor battery last month.
Dickson alleged in her latest filing that her arrest was a setup after Chamberlin falsely accused her of slapping a woman "he calls his" daughter, but whom the actress alleged is his girlfriend. The Los
Angeles City Attorney ultimately declined to file charges.

In her recent filing, Dickson said she made multiple 911 calls against Chamberlin in the past. One was in late June, when Dickson said Chamberlin "put a steel bedframe against the wood door I used to enter the home so I could not get in."
Dickson said police officers advised her to seek a restraining order. She did not do so at the time but said in the filing that she now wanted one. She went on to share additional concerns and accused Chamberlin of drug use and drug trafficking.
She also alleged Chamberlin "purchased a ninja knife," claiming "he's a ninja," after "he had been harassing me daily." Another alleged incident occurred when the woman Dickson speculated is Chamberlin's girlfriend "posing as his daughter" allegedly stole $350 of her makeup.
Dickson further alleged Chamberlin put sticky notes around the house with harassing messages, including "PLEASE MOVE OUT PSYCHO" and "WATER DAMAGE FROM BRENDA SHOWERS," which she submitted photos of to the court.
The Aug. 24 order for dismissal followed a hearing, during which the judge determined Chamberlin "did not sustain the applicable burden of proof" needed for a restraining order.
