Rafa Marquez's debut is in the books, but the Mexico manager is still looking for his first win after a 1-1 draw with Colombia started life after the World Cup.
There were plenty of bright moments in that game, though none was brighter than Gilberto Mora scoring his first Mexico goal in sensational fashion.
Now, Marquez and Mexico turn their attention toward Peru, hoping to thrill Mexico fans in New Jersey with the debut win of the new era.
Marquez will likely make changes, not only to keep players fresh but also to get a good look at other players in the pool who might give his team a boost as he continues to look toward November's Concacaf Nations League matches and also potentially tries to put out his strongest team Saturday, Oct. 3, against
the rival United States.
