Mark Hamon is back.
Season 3 of "NCIS: Origins," the prequel to the 24-season "NCIS" that debuted in 2003, premieres on Tuesday, Oct. 6. "NCIS" fans are especially excited for new season premiere because Mark Hamon returns as present-day Leroy Jethro Gibbs, the series' protagonist.
Previously, Hamon served as a narrator on Seasons 1 and 2 of "NCIS: Origins." But in the new season, his expanded role introduces a season-long mystery connecting present-day Gibbs with events from Camp Pendleton in the early '90s, according to Paramount+.
