Princess Eugenie and husband Jack Brooksbank are officially a family of five!
The couple, who also share sons August, 5, and Ernest, 3, have welcomed their third child and first daughter together, Buckingham Palace announced in a statement Aug. 4.
"Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie and Mr Jack Brooksbank are delighted to announce the safe arrival of their daughter," born Monday, Aug. 3, at 6:20 p.m., "at a hospital in Lisbon, Portugal," the statement read, noting their daughter "was born weighing 6 pounds 9 ounces."
"Their Majesties The King and Queen and other members of The Royal Family were delighted to be informed of the news," the statement concluded.
Eugenie, 36, also confirmed the news in a post on her official Instagram page, which featured
a photo of the newborn cuddled up in a pink onesie with angel wings holding onto someone's finger.
"Jack and I are so excited to announce Baby Girl Brooksbank!! We are beyond in love with our girlie. 💓💓💓💓💓," she wrote in the caption.
The baby, whose name has not yet been revealed, sits 15th in line to the British throne. Eugenie, who tied the knot with Brooksbank in 2018, is 12th in the line of succession.
The palace announced the pregnancy May 4 in a statement that read, "Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie and Mr Jack Brooksbank are very pleased to announce that they are expecting their third child together, due this summer."
It said August and Ernest "are very excited to have another sibling join the family" and confirmed King Charles, Eugenie's uncle through her father and his brother Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, "has been informed and is delighted with the news."
In her own announcement on Instagram at the time, Eugenie posted a photo of her sons with an ultrasound image and captioned it, "Baby Brooksbank due 2026! ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️👶🏻♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️."
Eugenie is the youngest daughter of Sarah Ferguson and the former Prince Andrew, who was stripped of his royal titles in 2025. This came amid controversy over his friendship with the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
In early 2026, Mountbatten-Windsor was arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public life. The case remains ongoing.
