Kim Kardashian is opening up about her new styling partnership with celebrity image architect Law Roach.
Following the Skims founder's newly minted styling partnership with Roach, she spoke to USA TODAY at the "All's Fair" Season 2 premiere in New York City on Monday, Nov. 2, about seeking his styling advice over the years and finally making their long-awaited collaboration a reality.
"I work with a group of amazing stylists, depending on what that is, and you want to grow and evolve and try new things," Kardashian tells USA TODAY. "I've worked with a lot of amazing designers, and I have a lot of my personal relationships with designers, and I just wanted to expand that and get his take, right?"
"He's an amazing stylist and he has such knowledge,"
Kardashian continued. "I loved hanging out with him over the years, and I would always FaceTime him when I was in a store shopping, so we've always waited for our moment, and this is our moment together."
Kardashian confirmed that Roach styled her for the New York premiere, where she wore a custom gown by Ashi Studio. Asked about working with Roach, she added, "He's the best."
The pair made their collaboration official when Kardashian attended the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art opening night on Sept. 19 wearing a gown from Yves Saint Laurent's fall 2004 collection. Roach later referred to Kardashian as his "new client" in a social media post.
Kardashian has since donned a number of archival and statement-making looks during the "All's Fair" Season 2 press tour. She wore a corseted polka-dot ensemble by Galia Lahav to the Hulu drama's Rome premiere on Oct. 25, less than two weeks after the brand debuted the gown at New York Bridal Fashion Week.

The day prior, Kardashian attended the Rome Film Festival in a vintage leopard-print gown from Yves Saint Laurent's fall 1986 haute couture collection. At the Academy Museum Gala on Oct. 17, she embraced Old Hollywood glamour in a pink-and-white strapless Balenciaga gown from 1951.
Roach, who has also styled Ariana Grande and Celine Dion, is particularly known for his collaborations with Zendaya, including their approach to character-inspired red carpet dressing.
At the InStyle Imagemaker Awards, Roach spoke about his new collaboration with Kardashian, telling People that the reality star was receptive to his creative vision.
"She is such a beautiful person and nice and easy [to work with]," Roach said. "She knows what she wants, but she also lets you create."
