Los Angeles Chargers tight ends Charlie Kolar (forearm) and David Njoku (fibula) were each placed on the reserve/injured list with a designation to return on Monday, Sept. 21.
Njoku suffered a fibula injury in the Week 2 game against the Las Vegas Raiders, while Kolar sustained a forearm injury in the second half of the same game. Both players will be forced to miss a minimum of four games, while tight end Oronde Gadsden II is the only healthy tight end on the 53-man roster.
"It's something we're working with the personnel department and the team," Harbaugh said, about the tight end position. "We're going through that (Monday)."
In addition, left guard Kayode Awosika (fibula) and defensive tackle Dalvin Tomlinson (hamstring) will also "miss some
time," according to the coach.

Why it Matters: With Njoku on the shelf, it's Gadsden's time to shine, and he has TE1 potential in fantasy leagues if he can re-gain the form he showed in 2025. For now, treat him as a TE2 with upside. However, as long as he can stay healthy, he has nobody standing in his way for targets or snap share.
