TikTok convinced me to try the FEPPO mattress vacuum, and after seeing what it pulled out of my supposedly clean mattress, I finally understood the hype.
The FEPPO Mattress Vacuum Cleaner PRO is now on sale for $55, down from its listed $75.99 price, making this a particularly good time to grab the cleaning gadget I've been recommending since I first tried it.
I was skeptical about buying a vacuum solely for cleaning a mattress. I already keep a mattress protector on my bed, change the sheets weekly and vacuum constantly thanks to my two large black dogs.
Then I ran the FEPPO across my mattress.
One pass picked up a surprising amount of dust and dirt. Soon, I wasn't just cleaning the mattress. I took the vacuum to my couch, kitchen chairs, dining
nook bench, throw pillows and curtains, emptying the tank more than once along the way.
In short, this is one viral cleaning gadget that earned a permanent place in my home.

Why I love the FEPPO mattress vacuum
The biggest surprise was simply how well the FEPPO worked. Its suction, light weight and easy-to-use design made it simple to move from one piece of furniture to another.
Pet hair was especially impressive. FEPPO says the vacuum isn't rated for pet hair, but in my experience, it still picked up stubborn dog hair that normally would have required a lint roller and significantly more time.
At around four pounds, it's also lightweight enough for longer cleaning sessions. I used it for about 30 minutes without my arm getting tired.
Although it's designed for mattresses, I found it useful on other upholstery, including couches, chairs, curtains and benches. Check the care instructions before using it on furniture and test it on a small, inconspicuous area if you're unsure.
How the FEPPO mattress vacuum works
FEPPO says the vacuum also uses 253.7-nanometer UV-C light and high-frequency ultrasonic waves and claims its technology removes 99.9% of unseen substances. That 99.9% figure is the manufacturer's claim, not independently verified here, but from what I saw, it definitely picks up a lot.
This model does have a cord, but it's a long one that shouldn't hinder you too much. If you do want a cordless model though, FEPPO offers a great option that I can attest to.
Storage could also be a consideration. Although it's a compact handheld appliance, you'll still need roughly a foot of shelf space for it.
