The San Diego Padres advanced to the National League Division Series to face-off against the top-seeded Milwaukee Brewers in a best-of-five game series beginning Saturday, Oct. 3.
The Padres found their way to the NLDS by defeating the Chicago Cubs in the National League wild card series in a 2-0 sweep. The Brewers were resting as they were awarded a first-round bye with the top record in the NL.

they lost the series 2-1. Overall they won the season series 4-2.
The five-game series begins with back-to-back games at American Family Field, then the series shifts to the West Coast at Petco Park in San Diego for Game 3 and Game 4, if necessary. A deciding Game 5 would be played back in Milwaukee.
