Saquon Barkley is among a host of Philadelphia Eagles players missing Sunday's London contest against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
How much longer the three-time Pro Bowl running back will be out of the lineup remains unclear.
Barkley injured his hamstring in the first quarter of the Eagles' 24-20 loss to the Los Angeles Rams in Week 4 and did not return. Along with wide receivers DeVonta Smith and Hollywood Brown, center Drew Kendall and safety Marcus Epps, he was ruled out Friday for the tilt against the Jaguars.
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported last week that Barkley would be considered week-to-week, which could allow him to make his return next Sunday against the Carolina Panthers.
Without Barkley, the Eagles' backfield has undergone a significant
shift.
Backup Tank Bigsby was also hurt in the loss to the Rams and was placed on injured reserve last week. That left Will Shipley as the only back on the active roster.
Philadelphia signed running backs Dameon Pierce and Carson Steele from its practice squad to provide additional depth.
