For Rihanna, you can take the girl out of the island, but you can't take the island out of the girl.
The Grammy-winning singer, who recently took her family to her homeland, Barbados, shared some rare photos of her children from the trip, as seen in an Instagram post Tuesday, Aug. 11.

.In the newly released photos, the "Pon de Replay" singer could be seen taking her children to visit her childhood home, Sonia Ville, in the island's capital of Bridgetown. "One minute, I feel like that kid from Westbury, the next minute I'm bringing my own kids back to 'Rihanna Drive,'" the "Rude Boy" star wrote. The residence's original address, Westbury New Road, was renamed to Rihanna Drive in 2017 to honor the singer's illustrious career.

Rihanna, whose full name is Robyn Rihanna Fenty, was born and raised in the Caribbean country before her ascent to pop superstardom. She released her first album, the tropical pop-infused "Music of the Sun," in 2005 at just 17. The album's mainstream breakthrough would be the first in a string of successes for Rihanna, which include 14 No. 1 hits on the Billboard Hot 100, nine Grammy Awards and the cosmetics brand Fenty Beauty.
The pop star and beauty mogul returned to Barbados earlier this month to celebrate Crop Over, an annual festival that marks the end of the sugar cane harvest, a tradition dating back to the 1780s.
As part of the festivities, Rihanna made an appearance at the Grand Kadooment Day Parade on Aug. 3. The singer wore a showstopping outfit, featuring a colorful traditional ensemble adorned with feathers and jewels, along with coordinating accessories and a dramatic feathered headpiece.
And as for her family life, the singer may not be finished with the baby carriage just yet.
In January, Rihanna seemingly hinted at wanting more children in a playful Instagram comment. Reacting to a video by influencer Montana Brown that featured the caption, "Deciding whether to get hot and sexy or get pregnant in 2026," Rihanna wrote: "Wait! So, I'm not crazy then? Bet!"
